Congratulations to Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs, Maurtice Newsome and Eric Phifer, who have signed to play college basketball.  Senior Maurtice Newsome will join the Penn State Greater Allegheny Nittany Lions in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.  Eric Phifer, who attends Living Word Christian School in Washington, DC, and plays for the SMCA Mustangs, signed with Southwestern Adventist University Knights in Keene, Texas. We could not be more proud of the hard work and dedication that it took to achieve this. Way to go, Mustangs!
