American Symbols

American Symbols

Our second grade Mustangs have been learning about American Symbols for History.  They have learned that the Statue of Liberty was a gift from France and that the Liberty Bell has a large crack in it and can no longer be rung.  They have learned that Uncle Sam is a fictional person, the Bald Eagle stands for strength and freedom, and the White House is where the President of the US lives. Through the “Art for Kids” website, they have enjoyed drawing these American symbols. Check out their artwork!
