Family Fun Night

“I’m going to feel this in the morning” was heard as the alumni players dusted off their cleats and started warming up for their match up against the Varsity Soccer teams. The game was a fun game to watch as the players that once dominated the field for SMCA were now playing the players that currently represent the Mustangs. The game ended in a 6-3 win for the alumni. This is the second year in a row that the alumni have taken the “dub.” The game was followed by the sounds of laughter as our students lined up to take shots on their teachers in the dunk tank. This was a first for SMCA, but no doubt will be requested to be at next year’s Family Fun Night. People were lined up for their chance at trying Mrs. Remo’s pancit and egg rolls. One thing that is always true at this event, the food never disappoints. The evening was wrapped up with a performance from the Junior Mustangs’ Dance Troope and bonfire.

Family Fun Night is the event that wraps up our Spirit Week, kicks off the fall season, and reconnects us all with people we haven’t seen in a long time. It truly is a fun night with our Mustang family.
